Please do not buy this game in it's current state. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security by the (currently) high review score, this is a broken game. In one hour of play I encounter three game breaking bugs that needed a restart. I honestly have no idea how this game could have been released in it's current state. I like the premise, but as it stands, it is a waste of money.

I've been watching the game for a long time and I was thinking if I should buy it or not. I was worried if the game is working stably. But I saw how often they make updates so decided to take a chance and I don't regret) Pros: - Many kinds of bonuses. You really have to sit with a choice of what bonus to pump - The economy. The system is quite simple, but there are many available sources like the capital, the regions and luxury mining, which can be sold. Cons: - Battle. I was expecting for a more like card battle, but it's more arcade than I thought. In general, I liked the game and await more updates!
Sure, devs know how to keep the player waiting) I've started playing and I liked it much, but bugs are killing) I even wanted to put a dislike, but guys seem to care for the product - bugs are fixed, so I can relax and enjoy the game) For fans of simple and plain strategies I recommend LDoR
The game has changed since the last time I played. There was lots of bugs and other stuff. Now you can finally enjoy the game. What I especially like is how many different mechanics and criterias are in the game. Units levels, general skills, sciences - all this builds the awesome battle system. Most of all, I liked the fact that the strongest units are actually not so strong in some situations. The battles make you think deeper and plan your army harder
I'll not waste words - this game in its current state is atrocious and I can't fathom how it's getting such a high review score. This is the Big Rigs - Over the Road Racing of map games and how people can call it 'realistic' boggles the mind. Why would a game that's pitching to historical strategy nerds have most of the province names be gibberish? But not all. Some are real, but inexplicably out of place. Toledo is on the coast. Constantinople, IIRC, is somewhere in the north Balkans. Amida was apparently in northern Russia. Where Rome - ROME! - should be was called 'Hi Karate' or some such thing. Yes, it's essentially cosmetic but to me it's immersion-breaking - and inexplicable given how easy it would have been to get it right. For the love of God don't buy this.
New game in my library - Last Day of Rome This is a military-economic strategy about ancient Rome since the 2nd century AD. In short: we take command of a people within the borders of Rome. We will have to use both tactics and strategy, and diplomacy. Therefore, it is possible to gain respect among their own people and, for example, to raid or launch a campaign against the 1st Reich xD Actually, the system is nothing new, we control any country in Europe, we build buildings and infrastructure in their regions, that is, we focus on the development of our army through the study of new technologies. In a nutshell about the conquests, the basis is the tactic of killing enemy units with a particularly strong during our turn attack of an individual unit. The game contains: 8 barbarian fractions About 240 regions to conquer 20 types of metropolitan and urban buildings 60 types of units of barbarians and Romans Although I'm not a fan of card games, here you can pass the evening.
As a strategy genre lover I'm pretty exited! Each time I'm purchasing indie strategy, I'm getting surprised with some new, fresh and unique features. The game has a lot of factions, there is a lot of things to upgrade and research. Huge amount of regions to capture. Graphics and sound are very enjoyable. The best thing - the gameplay isn't easy!
The positives of this game are the price and a decent amount of depth. Games can be played fairly quickly, and a key part of every element is upgrades. In order to "evaluate" a game for further play, I will often use a trainer (WeMod is great; please Google it) or CheatEngine to get to the meat of the game quickly. Unfortunately, I believe I ran into the "bugs" some people have mentioned. In my case, the combat screen (which is card-based, and pretty simple but good) froze a couple of times. For this reason, I decided not to play the game further. For those who wish to take the risk - you may not run into bugs in the two-hour refund time - there is a Town screen with several elements that can be upgraded. In the map screen, Generals can be hired and upgraded based on Research points. Infantry, Cavalry, Archers can be hired and put into an army under the General. When you move your armies onto another region, you are given the option to attack. From there, the Battle screen comes up....
A promising game, but so much bugs after only a couple of hours ! This game is clearly not finished and broken. I would really like to play this game, but at that point, it's more a pain than a game. Too bad. Here are some. There are probably more: - the biggest bug : manual battles! I had to Alt+F4 so many times because it seems to freeze if I move the mouse too fast over an unit while some are fighting (not sure about that). Or when I'm attacked and have defense buildings, the game freeze after the IA made his attack. Really painfull. This is one of the major bugs to my point of view. - some generals skills can't be acquired, even if he has enough xp to spend. (bonus to recruits / rounds and movements on friendly territories. - About the last one, it's useless (see somewhere below) - When you reload a game, you can train again a uniit. OP. If you do it several times, buying a unit can even give you back some recruits... same for the iron. Yeahh they pay to fight for me and they of...
An incredibly realistic strategy, many fractions with unique units make the game really exciting and you will want to continue. I advise everyone to become at least briefly commander
