Tiny Dangerous Dungeons is fine: it hits the retro spot as promised graphically and mechanically but it is also considerably shallow, with a linear progress, no story and a one-track soundtrack. Thankfully, because the areas are...well, tiny, it is quick and easy to replay too, whether you choose the normal mode to explore the map for any missing secrets, or you feel like testing yourself with the time trial mode. If you want no depth, all gameplay, Tiny Dangerous Dungeons may be a good match for you.

Pretty short, from start to finish it only took me about an hour (about 20 minutes of it was just backtracking to find all the hearts). Not a bad little bite-sized game. Some things that I think would could improve the experience: -The entire dungeon just has the one track. It's by no means a bad song but after listening to it for an hour straight it was really starting to get on my nerves. I feel like the sewer rooms and lava rooms could have different tracks to break the monotony. -Something I'd like to see is the ability to teleport between save points. It would make backtracking around the dungeon for hearts a lot less frustrating in casual play. -It would be neat if the jumping frogs telegraphed their jump a couple of frames early to to make it easier to time your knife throw for a midair hit. This is all just QoL stuff, the game as is is still definitely well worth the 5 dollars. Great job!

Pretty good port of great android game. + Great level design. + Challenging, yet fair. + Great progression system + Great nostalgic graphics style. + Great music. - Way too short. ≈30 minutes long. - The dungeon itself could have had more secrets and explorative areas. As of now everything is very linear and anythere you go is for progression. No sideways or anything besides secrets. - Configuring controls is a bit painful. Mouse does not work and changing controls changes controls of how to change controls... 7/10

A short, easy Metroidvania. The control is nice, the music is nice, the level design is nice, the graphics are nice (given that they're deliberately designed to look like a Game Boy game). Overall, it's ... nice. Good for a short while's entertainment, though you probably won't go back to it.

If you're looking for a quick and fun platformer with some excellent 8 Bit Pixel art, then you're in luck. TDD is a compact and quick game to play, with some good exploration elements, mixed in with some tight platforming and a lovely soundtrack!

Cute little platformer inspired by the gameboy era of 2d platformers. Very very short game but pretty fun to play in between big games. Please note this game is FREE on mobile devices so the fact we have to pay on steam is a little bit annoying

Tiny Dangerous Dungeons is an enjoyable 'Metroidvania' game with a Gameboy aesthetic, albeit fairly simplistic and, true to its name, short (easily beatable within an hour). Upgrades are fairly typical - the ability to push blocks and a couple of different weapons, for example - but well-used and the controls in general are tight. There's some good level design here, alongside a handful of well-hidden secrets, and a series of achievements encourage replay with different approaches, from a careful, no-deaths attempt to a speedrun.

Fantastic little metroidvania lite game! Controls great, has good enemy layout and the world is fun to explore. I liked this game much better than Super Dangerous Dungeons. Keep in mind this is a "tiny" little game and it won't take long to finish, but what it offers in the short playtime is all very well done.
