Outstanding game and one of the most original for its time. Deserving of a reboot
This game is awesome, this is as close to perfection 90s fps get, everything from the gunplay, the enemies, the animations and the atmosphere is on point. Sure it is brutally difficult even when compared to other shooters at the time, but it more than makes up for it with an unconventional yet extremely powerful arsenal, almost every single weapon you get has its purpose and continues to be useful through the whole game, The weapon design is very unique and creative and thanks to the physics of the game are very satisfying to use. (for the people complaining about the difficulty take your time to experiment with every weapon and their alt fire) There is a lot enemy variety and they are all well designed and each one serves their own purpose, and there is multiple unique death animations for each enemy each one gory and beautifully animated. Some of weak points of the game are the level design that while being great and memorable for the most of to game, it does see a dip in quality ...
Caleb makes me feel all tingly on the inside whenever he speaks oooo lala, also yeah i like this game
Good game, but brutal. Couldn't past E1M3, but I genuinely love it. So here is a tip that I got from Civvie33 : > Most weapons have secondary fire. Very useful for Dynamites, since it allows you to bounce it off from wall, making corners a bit easy to deal with.
MARANAX MARANAAAAHHHHH
Love this game
The game low key HAS FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT but doesn't list it. Sorry about the caps lock. I'm just so freaking excite to play this god tier FPS on my couch! I've been putting it off for years because the store page doesn't show controller support. I can't be the only one so dev you might want to fix your store page.
This game stands on it's own, and by that I mean I have no nostalgia for this game or anything on the build engine or doom engine, and yet I didn't feel it's age at all. I bought it for 2$ and had a lot of fun. The whole game has this cozy spooky haunted house atmosphere that I love. >Oooh, this promises to be fun!
