The time I have invested in it wasn't worth it. Impossible achievements, hours of waiting for a certain house to be on sale, random freezes and crashes on the smallest interaction and constant spam of notifications.

Alright, I got this game back when it was still in early access, i have a lot of time into this game at this point and i cant say i'm super happy with it. If the main quests were not a buggy glitchy mess making you restart if you even do one thing the main quest didnt want you to do. its over any progress you made while it was stuck like that. In fact i had forgotten about this, i thought well maybe if i just go back into an auction and do the prompt it will fix it. N O P E. lost 3 hours of work for it to be reverted. If they would actually fix it and work on this pos maybe it will be playable. i genuinely believe it was better back in early access because at least it ran better. not to mention every time i start a new job it lags out and tries to freeze. I cannot recommend this game in this state, it needs to be fixed.
[WARNING] The main quest is buggy as hell and if you somehow managed to do stuff that you shouldn't while a main quest tutorial is active, your game won't save properly and will revert back to the quest you messed up... forever. So I've had to restart the game three times and slum it up in, well, the slums, when I should've made it to the third district with the time i've put in. The reno tasks get repetitive by the second district - they seem to be less varied by then, like the deveopers also got kinda bored. With all that said, I'd still recommend the game since it does do what it's supposed to. If one of your favorite parts of The Sims was building houses and decorating them... this is for you. The unlocking of new furniture and items also makes the progression less boring that it would be otherwise. I'd come back to this to renovate a few more houses and try to reach the third district in a couple months.
Really wanted to like this game - it has everything I want! Micromanaging, customizable stuff, etc. But it's just optimized so poorly. Even on a high-end PC, it's laggy, has several bugs, and tends to run super slow.
It's fun. But- gets repetitive fast.
I can't even get past the tutorial, cause I can't exit the trailer. I have sent several reports with no response.
Super buggy, It can be very frustrating as the game is actually quite fun when it works. The potential is there but unfortunately the game itself is not there yet. My biggest bug I have come across is that you will get a "job" and it wants you to renovate 1-5 rooms but only allows you to edit 1-2 of them. thus making it impossible to progress. Meh, I'm over it.
I have sunk 17 hours into this over the past couple and I couldn't recommend it more. It seems like they've addressed a lot of the bugs I was worried about when I was first looking into getting it. There are a few minor ones here and they're but nothing exiting a job and going back into it wont fix. There is hours and hour of game play there and if you happen to get it on a sale like I did it really is worth it. If you're into this like house flipper its right up your alley.
I have tried to have fun with this game, but it's clearly been abandoned by the devs. The rooms don't work as intended, trying to force you into putting 3 bunkbeds and a table onto a balcony that couldn't possible fit it all, forcing you to lose the contract, and this happens the worse on the elite contracts. It constantly freezes, forcing you to restart your game, and the saves are easily corrupted by playing faster than the tutorial, which you cant turn off. I lost my ability to purchase properties in a month long save because i sold a property before the game told me to, which didnt seem like it was ever gong to happen after a whole freaking month of playing it. You can't even cheat your way through the bugs like you can in sims. wish i could refund my 2 bucks.
Manz.. i'm not good at giving game reviews, anyways, well, if you like playing those games whereby you get to do managing and things , this game will be enjoyable. my favourite part is the decorating and fixing of the houses before renting, seeing the funny tenants and slowly seeing the earnings grow :)
