One of very, [i]very[/i] few pieces of media (game or otherwise) to really get time travel right. Play it for this if for no other reason, the frustration is worth it - navigating time isn't a gimmick, it's truly the core of the game. Strong recommend. Note that this is on the more challenging side of the genre. Victory is not guaranteed, nor is it the result of a linear process of conquering biomes until the last one's reachable. But, it's very unique and even takes a fairly hard sci-fi approach to what can and cannot be done, freeing and limiting in equal measure.
