Positive. Solid art direction: color pallete, models, animations, cutscenes and sound - all works well. Gameplay itself is boring and unexciting from the start. Partially because of technical issues but mainly because of lack of a mechanics that works combined. Combat is trivial and slow, i tried two difficulties and none provide just a little challenge. I cant proceed further Rune village (about 30 minutes of gameplay each run, because game craches twice on the same place after cutscene) Technical part is most terrible. It is not only about crashes - im sure that it will be fixed. There are more - collisions, enemy spawn scripts, texture stucking, twitching character animations (which is upset me the most as animations is good. This definitely should be easy to fix, common mistake in Unity). This project just not ready yet, both playtest and QA is needed badly. And still this isnt disaster, game got potential, just more work to be done

About This Game

Arcade-style Dungeon Crawling
- Dive into exciting quick-fire combat against monsters, bosses and time itself.
More than Hack & Slash
- Pick from 7 characters across 5 class types, wielding sword, axe, bow, magic or the elements themselves. Each with unique loadouts, abilities, upgrades and bittersweet backstories.
Randomly Generated Worlds
- Seamlessly explore 25 diorama-like levels across 5 unique regions, procedurally generated to maximise replayability.

The world is in grave danger, ravaged by corrupted beings and besieged by the underworld below. As this onslaught reaches its crux, the surface has begun crumbling into the underworld, taking all those who live above into the depths of hell.
But hope is not lost.
Control one of seven brave souls willing to risk it all to save the world. Their quest: recover the five Gems of Genesis, from the world’s five regions in order to face the very source of the corruption in one final showdown.

In this procedurally generated world spanning five vibrant regions, no two playthroughs will ever be the same.
From your timid first steps in The Dark Forest to your triumphant victory deep in The Dungeons, fight your way through monsters and brutal bosses in order to bring peace to the lands.
But the corrupted monsters aren’t your only worry. The world is crumbling beneath your very feet, making pushing forwards your only option. Too slow, and you’ll fall into The Underworld. Although this dark, dangerous land hides great treasures the armies of hell await you, and you must make it back to the surface in time to stop the corruption.

Choose your character, wielding sword, axe, bow, magic or the elements themselves to fight through the onslaught of corrupted enemies in your quest to save the world.
With every slash, level up and obtain upgrades, gathering your strength for the ordeal ahead. But choose your abilities wisely, as a wrong decision could be the difference between saving the world or perishing along with it.

Bridging the gap between old-school dungeon crawlers (Diablo I), arcade RPGs (Ghouls’n’Ghosts) and combo-driven fighters, Crumbling World is a casual dive into dark fantasy.
- Adventure: Each region contains unique quests to complete within its procedurally generated environment.
Multiple playstyles: With each character bringing a distinct playstyle to your fingertips, brimming with unique loadouts, upgrades and combos, choose your favourite, or master them all. - Combos: With tight, unified controls, discover and unlock powerful combos to cut through the hordes with ease.
- Loot: Channelling the dungeon-crawler DNA, break barrels and explore each region to uncover valuable loot to help you on your adventure.
Explore, hack, slash, level up and triumph over time itself in this fresh take on classic dungeon crawlers.

TL;DR this game has a lot of potential. Needs more work before it's as good as it can be. Long story: regular movement is slow, so shield rolling saves the day. Balance your stamina to keep moving but to also take out enemies. Also, shield rolling skillfully can give you the first and often fatal attacks on foes. Shield rolling in the Underworld allows you to move through lava without taking damage, and you have infinite stamina so use it :D Shield rolling is almost broken. Camera movement with a game controller stick would be very nice. I understand the desire to make environment a challenge when in battle, such as having trees block the player's view as they fight. It just doesn't feel right here. Too many things about view angles are already too limiting. Also, some critical plot moments are debilitated by forced camera movements. Once you find the guy who needs the axe, the camera's gonna mess with you. So far, I've taken every item I've found instead of leaving it. There's alwa...
A well-crafted game with a unique premise. The world is constantly collapsing behind you, disappearing into the abyss. This has the effect of urging you forward, but never rushing you. The dark-fantasy feeling is rendered in beautiful graphics, with really nice textures and lighting. The main thing is: This game is fun. That's really the most important factor in any game. I love it.
Hello , the game still have some bugs but they are corrected patch after patch , i like the game a bit slow but it dasnt matter so much the adventure seems nice and i want to go further to see what will happen i like very much the ranger the fight is nice for the graphic is poly its ok i can see that Dany the dev is very active to polish the game intersting to try anyway
This is a fun arcade game. I recommend it if you like Hack and Slash games, probably too simple if you are looking for a full RPG experience. The combat can feel basic at the beginning but it gets more interesting once you start unlocking special attacks. You can choose from 7 different player characters with very different skills. Trying new characters is fun as each of them unlock different special attacks. The big variety of enemies and regions/landscapes in addition to the the procedural generation make the game very different in each playthrough.
If you enjoy hack and slash top down rogue-likes like Diablo, Baldur's Gate and Champions of Norrath, I encourage you to give this game a shot. I greatly enjoy this game. I have spent many hours in it's world through the different characters and game modes. Each character plays different and each get their own attacks, so there is a character for everyone. The special attacks (combo attacks) are gained by defeating certain bosses at the end of each part of the world map. Outside of that, you have a basic attack that can be used in sequences to slay your foes, a jump, a dodge roll and a portal to get you back to a non-falling part of the map. The concept of the world falling behind you as you go adds a sense of urgency without taking away from the casual game play. If you do fall off the world, instead of dying you are sent to an underworld where you battle against demons and skeletons to make your way back to a portal that returns you to unbroken lands up above. While in the underworl...
I rarely play this type of game. I started playing it and tried the beginning so far. It's not a AAA game but for an Indie game I found it worth the price for the story and the game play. A unique and different experience for sure. The graphics and the sound affects as well as the story adds quite a bit - very promising and hope to see either further improvements or another title from this developer. Nice job!
Great game with smooth controls.
If this game were still in Early Development, I would give it a thumbs up...because I see potential and its an interesting idea worthy of exploring. However....having played the game, its bad. Full price is a bit insulting considering the quality put out. Devs should have invested their time more efficaciously. Yes I said "efficaciously". Because the end result as it is, is not effective. Looks and plays like an unfinished demo, but I can let the aesthetic choices go, but too many other issues right out of the gate. Clunky mechanics, unclear objectives. For some odd reason they chose to make the typical attack button (X or square for PS) your shield and the B button is your attack...who does that? Why? And no customizing the controller. Also, there seems to be no dash/roll move. It really needs one to feel good. Obviously a short one, as falling off the edges of the path is a constant part of the play mechanic. Maybe one gets unlocked later, but if its part of the game it should...
2.6 / 5 : Buggy . Only Buy On Sale! Barely Thumb's Up. Arcade-style action meandering dungeon crawler with a lot of problems. Basic game has some interesting specific mechanics, but is riddled with bugs and HORRIBLE balance design flaws. Glitched-type errors/bugs are not game ruining. But game balance problems are. By the time I got to the king's son boss, I couldn't beat him, so I decided to explore the underworld with the boat and, after a couple of deaths, wound up going from 80 health, 120 magic, 150 attack, and 140 defense to (no joke) 1000 health, 2000 magic, 150000 (one hundred fifty thousand) attack, 50,000 defense. In the normal dungeon levels, there are items to find that increase stats by integer numbers between 5 and 30. Every bonus balanced by a negative: a +15 magic might come with a -10 health, etc. I was level 12 when I first hit king's son boss. But the underworld chests have *multipliers*, scrolls that multiply a random stat by 2-5 times. The game designer...
